Not because we are talking about mentor we now decide to take any body as our mentor. seeing a pastor taking a soccer player as mentor means there is a contradiction in career. so choosing a mentor has to go with your faith it tend to be of the same career not different idea coming to form one success but the same idea forming one success. So career helps in choosing our mentor.

WHAT WE MUST NOT POSSESS IN THEM.
Having a mentor does not mean we are taking everything from them but we need to shape our careers from them. If your mentor is off different religion we should be aiming at career not religious life so all we tend to have in life if we take the positive part of their life not the negative part so attaining what they have we need wisdom to select the right one dont possess all be selective take the positive one and learn from the negative aspect.
