It was full of display today in Delta state as market women and youth came in a Massive protest against BEDC over poor/non power supply to Uvwie/Warri residents.
The protest took place at the Road leading to Port Harcourt and Benin and all the road were blocked for the past 2hours with travellers stranded. No Govt official from Delta State govt or local govt council to plead with the protesters to allow free flow of movements.
It has been reported that Delta state which seems to be an oil state have been suffering from light in some area for more than Two years now. The people of warri nation storm the road because they have been in blacklight for over two tears now.
Benin Electricity Distributing Company (BEDC) who is incharge of light in delta and Edo state have fail to make the people happy andyesterday the people of Edo state protest against thesame company due to no power supply begging the Government to take back the power from the company.
